Megan writes: I am organizing a silent auction including some LOTR collectibles to benefit The American Red Cross disaster relief fund. At the Alamo Drafthouse, downtown (4th and Colorado), Austin, Texas. The event will be this Saturday, September 3rd at about 12 noon. All proceeds to go to the American Red Cross Disaster relief funds for aid for Katrina victims. Be prepared to pay that day. Make checks payable to American Red Cross.
