Of all the news stories I've seen regarding Lord of the Rings over the last three years, this has to be one of the most touching ones. This morning, a young 8 year old Canadian boy suffering from terminal cancer will receive an advanced screening of Fellowship of the Ring along with 100 friends and supporters in his local theatre in Ontario. A Christmas Wish for James Birrell, his condition is too fragile to make the trip to Toronto for the premiere on December 14th.
