I just got my Amazon.com daily mailshot and noticed the following paragraph. Here's a new way to gauge a DVD: how many hours can one spend watching just the extras? Several recent DVDs claim two to four hours of bonus material, but here comes Shrek boasting 11 hours of entertaining extras. Its reign will be short-lived in the world of hype, however; a still unnamed 2002 DVD release is boasting 12 hours of extras! We'll keep you in the loop on that one.
