Gov. Pataki Helps Heal A Grieving State

All this summer, Gov. George Pataki and his son, Owen, 14, were reading together, for pleasure, Tolkien's 1,800-page fantasy epic, 'The Lord of the Rings.'' Since Sept. 11, the governor has found himself picking up the book at 4 a.m., unable to sleep because of the adrenaline surging in his veins, the worries filling his head. [More]
